We have 3 separate 2 week scaffold construction courses – Introduction, Intermediate and Qualification;
These progressive courses teach theory and regulations regarding scaffold construction and have an emphasis on hands-on practice. The concepts and complexity increase through the three courses. The Introduction concentrates on frame and manufactured system scaffolds not larger than two lifts high and introduces stairs, cantilevers and buttresses; the Intermediate course concentrates on manufactured system and introduces more complex tube and clamp applications, with more focus on the eccentric loads and overcoming the challenges of industrial situations; the Qualification course uses primarily tube and clamp scaffold in a variety of hanging, cantilevered and bridged scaffolds.
Our 2-4 day Flex-Trade Scaffold Training is for trades workers who need to build their own small (two bay, two lift) scaffolds in an industrial plant. This course is tailored to the exact equipment used by these workers and is offered through their company as a company-specific certification.
In addition, we have a one day fall protection course which teaches how to properly inspect, wear and use one's personal fall protection equipment as well as the regulations regarding fall protection and hazard awareness and control, including information to prevent suspension trauma.
